Description
12-Track Recording / 10-Track Playback: The Model 12's built-in multitrack recorder allows you to record 12 tracks (directly to an SD card) as WAV files at up to 48kHz/24-bit resolution. It also supports punch-in/punch-out and overdub recording, and the recorded WAV files can be exported to a computer for further editing in a DAW.
The Model 12 USB audio interface features a 12-input/10-output USB Type-C connector for easy connection to a computer, enabling playback and recording of content using a variety of DAWs.
It also allows for intuitive control by applying the Model 12's compression and EQ to sources recorded to a DAW or SD card after the fact.
Integrated DAW Control: Use the Model 12's analog-like faders and knobs for DAW control, allowing for smooth composition and mixing. The HUI/MCU protocol is compatible with most major DAWs. Mixing operations such as faders, mute, pan, and solo are possible, as well as transport operations such as playback, record, fast forward, rewind, and jog.
Tap Tempo Click Output: The dedicated tap tempo click output is convenient for live performances and recording. It can be used not only to monitor the tempo during recording, but also as a separate click output for the orchestral parts of a concert. By outputting a MIDI click signal along with the click, it can also be used as the master for synchronization with external MIDI devices such as rhythm machines.
Equipped with MIDI terminals for connecting with external devices, the Model 12 is equipped with MIDI input and output terminals, allowing it to be used for synchronization and control of various external devices that have MIDI terminals, such as keyboards, drum machines, and controllers. It can also function as a MIDI sync master for synchronizing with DAWs.
The Model 12 is not only a versatile live production recorder and a powerful USB audio interface, but also a great podcast recorder for recording live performances of your music or talk shows. It's packed with features useful for podcast recording, including a mix-minus function to prevent guest audio from being mixed in during phone interviews, smartphone input, Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, dual headphone monitoring, and a built-in MTR.
From recording to stereo mastering, everything is possible with this one unit. The Model 12 is equipped with tactile 60mm faders, a one-knob compressor, a 3-band EQ, and TASCAM's high-quality reverb effect, allowing for fine-tuning of various mixes and tones. It also allows you to move between recorded tracks, and bounce (ping-pong) digital MTRs without any loss of sound quality, just like an analog MTR.
With a consistent and smooth workflow, you can complete everything from recording to stereo mastering with Model 12.
● Natural sound at will
The AK4110 features low-noise, high-quality TASCAM Ultra-HDDA (High Definition Discrete Architecture) mic preamps that achieve an EIN (Equivalent Input Noise) of -128dB, and all channels are equipped with high-impedance INST/line-level input jacks for direct connection of guitars and basses.
In addition, the one-knob compressors on the Model 24 and Model 16 now support stereo channels.
●Small but with ample inputs The compact Model 12 is suitable for small-scale recording and live environments, and is equipped with eight independent XLR microphone inputs with +48V phantom power, ten line inputs, and a Bluetooth 5.0 input.
Additionally, the smartphone input function that was well received in the MiNiSTUDIO series of streaming audio interfaces has been improved, allowing you to assign the input signal from a 3.5mm TRRS jack to an input channel, allowing you to record guests' conversations with clear sound quality.
●Easy-to-use channel routing: In addition to PFL/AFL, which allows you to monitor individually, such as muting or soloing each channel, while keeping the level and positioning of the entire mix intact, you can also select in-place solo mode, which can be used in the same way as DAW software.
●The top panel of the dual headphone monitor ``Model 12'' is equipped with two independent headphone output terminals that allow selection of the monitor source and volume balance that are optimal for the performer and engineer, respectively.
