Description

★Create and produce wherever you are

The Nektar Impact LX Mini brings the power of our popular LX Series USB MIDI controller keyboards to a truly portable device. Experience a smooth workflow wherever you are, with powerful, intuitive real-time controls to inspire your creativity. With clear controls, arpeggiator/note repeat, drum pads, a fun-to-play mini keyboard, and acclaimed Nektar DAW integration, the compact LX Mini packs all the essentials you need for production.

Equipped with essential features for playing, performing, and producing: The newly developed keybed features a 25-key mini keyboard (velocity-sensitive). Enjoy a solid playing feel and expressive performances. Choose from four velocity curves or three fixed values to suit your playing style. Dedicated octave buttons allow for quick octave shifts, and the "Part 2" button can also be used for transposition.
·pad
LX Mini features eight velocity-sensitive pads ideal for finger drumming, allowing you to create expressive grooves and beats. Assignments take seconds and can be saved across four pad maps, with a total of 32 note assignments.
The joystick combines four modulation controls into one: left and right are set to pitch bend, up to modulation, and down to foot pedal control. This lever also functions as a push button; pressing it transmits foot pedal control at maximum level. You can assign any MIDI CC# to the up and down directions and push button, and this setting is retained even when the power is turned off and on.
The transport buttons to the left of the transport keyboard are used to control your DAW. All buttons can be assigned MIDI, and when combined with the Shift button, the number of assignments doubles (14). Nektar DAW Integration adds another layer of functionality, allowing up to 21 pre-mapped functions.
·knob
Eight knobs give you instant access to parameters like arpeggio, instrument, and MIDI CC. Use the mode buttons (Instrument, Internal, Function) to switch between knob functions. Use the Page button to double the number of assignments (16).
・Foot switch terminal
The LX Mini features a footswitch socket, something that's often missing on keyboards of this size. Use the included 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch adapter to connect a standard sustain pedal (sold separately). Polarity is automatically detected on startup, and you can assign any MIDI CC to it.

Arpeggiator/Note Repeat
Create exciting synth and percussion lines with two arpeggio/repeat engines (one for keys and one for pads)! Eight knobs let you change the rate, swing, accent level, interval, tempo, arpeggio mode (note repeat, up, up/down, down, as play), and arpeggio octave width in real time.

The Page button switches between the keyboard and pad engines, while the buttons to the right of the pads allow you to operate each independently. For example, you could play hi-hats and percussion sounds on the pads, while assigning an arpeggiated bass line to the keyboard and controlling them with the knobs. The tempo can be locked internally or via external MIDI.

●Double Up: "Part 2" Function "Part 2" is a very unique function. By pressing the Part 2 button while playing, you can instantly jump up or down several octaves, instantly transpose, or switch to a different MIDI channel.

When you release the buttons, the LX Mini will return to its original setting. Want a latched setting? Just hold down the Part 2 button and press the other Part 2 button. This opens up new possibilities for performance not possible on other keyboards.

Nektar DAW Integration: Simply install the Nektar DAW Integration for your DAW and you'll be able to control your essential tasks from LX Mini. Give your trackpad or mouse a break and experience intuitive hands-on control of your session, including play and stop, navigate tracks and patches, and open and close windows.

Nektar DAW Integration currently supports Ableton Live, Bitwig, Cakewalk, Cubase, Digital Performer, FL Studio, GarageBand, Logic Pro X, Nuendo, Reason, Reaper, and Studio One.

●Adjust your instruments Want to control your virtual instruments like hardware synths?

LX Mini's Instrument Mode can be configured to control virtual instruments within most DAWs. When combined with the Page buttons, each knob can be assigned to two parameters, for a total of 16 parameters.

A large, independent volume knob adjusts the channel volume. Assigning parameters is easy: simply hold the Shift button, move the software control, then the hardware control.

●Includes Bitwig 8-Track, a DAW that lets you start composing and performing right away!
The LX Mini comes with Bitwig 8-Track, an 8-track DAW that lets you immediately start producing, performing, and sound designing. Bitwig 8-Track includes over 50 software instruments and effects, allowing you to create music on up to eight audio or MIDI tracks. You can also use commercially available VSTR plug-ins. The included Bitwig Essentials Package provides easy-to-use loops, clips, and samples to help even those new to composing. Inheriting the functionality and appeal of its higher-end counterpart, Bitwig Studio, this is a compelling music tool that serves both as a high-level production tool and a powerful sketchpad for developing musical ideas.

Nektar's DAW integration also supports Bitwig 8-Track. The LX Mini and Bitwig 8-Track are a wonderful combination that will enrich your music production life. It's the perfect combination for those who are just starting to create music in a digital environment. Even for those who are already familiar with other DAWs, it will provide a whole new level of inspiration.

●Officially imported domestically only! Includes the full version of UVI Digital Synsations, packed with digital synth sounds!
In the late '80s and early '90s, the synthesizer landscape began to change. Manufacturers began developing large, matte black synthesizers, eliminating knobs and controls wherever possible, and featuring flashy LCD screens and neat rows of buttons. These digital instruments graced records and stages. The distinctive sounds and technological advances of these instruments strongly influenced the music of the time, and their interplay ushered in the era of the digital synth.

Unlike previous analog synths, these digital synths were not easily editable. However, they were equipped with many attractive features that were cutting-edge at the time, such as a high polyphony, built-in sequencer and pattern memory, expansion memory slots, and digital effects. In addition, digital processing enabled some models to adopt a new synthesis method that combined sample playback with traditional techniques, providing synth players and musicians with unprecedented possibilities.

Digital Synsations is a digital synth collection that inherits the tones and textures of four iconic models, including the KORG M1, from the fascinating synthesizers of the 90s.
