The UF8 is SSL's latest DAW controller, designed for today's DAW-based production workflows and fast session turnaround times. An expandable 8-channel advanced DAW controller, the UF8 gives engineers, producers, and artists complete access to the creative process, providing the commands they need for their workflow and dramatically accelerating the speed of audio production and content creation.
The UF8 is SSL's latest DAW controller, designed for today's DAW-based production workflows and fast session turnaround times. An expandable 8-channel advanced DAW controller, the UF8 gives engineers, producers, and artists complete control over the creative process, providing the commands they need for their workflow and dramatically accelerating the speed of audio production and content creation.
●Advanced workflow:
The UF8 offers intuitive features developed from deep understanding of production workflows. Simultaneous access to multiple DAW sessions, DAW timeline access, track banking, and a Master Encoder for mouse emulation provide ultimate control. Dual-purpose selection keys enable quick access to selected functions, as well as solo and mute clears, in Pro Tools and Logic Pro. New channel and plug-in control modes enhance the workflow of UF8 users with Pro Tools, allowing easy access to sends and plug-ins without sacrificing creativity.
●Configurability:
The UF8 is equipped with 43 user keys organized into five banks, allowing users to configure essential keyboard shortcuts and macros for overall session control. By adding multiple controllers, you can create your own unique mixing system. Use four UF8s to create a 24-channel music production controller or a 32-channel post-production controller. Multiple UF8s can be cascaded using the THRU ports.
The UF8 includes an adjustable stand for installation, and an optional rackmount kit allows it to be mounted in the center section of an SSL ORIGIN console or in a 19-inch rack.

SSL's new 360° software app makes configuring your UF8 quick and easy.
When building an expansion system for UF8, you can set up the configuration by drag and drop.
Customize your workflow and create up to three different DAW layers to control your session simultaneously.

■System Requirements
SSL 360° software must be installed on your Mac or Windows computer in order to use SSL UF8. SSL 360° is available for FREE from the downloads page.

・Windows - Windows 8.1 (64-bit) or Windows 10 (64-bit)
・Intel 3rd Gen Core i5 (or comparable AMD processor) CPU running at 2.4GHz or higher
・8GB RAM or more is recommended
・Internet-connection for software updates from SSL 360° application

The following DAWs are officially supported by UF8 and have dedicated profiles in SSL 360°. We only officially test with the most recent versions of each DAW software. In most cases, previous versions will also work fine.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.
