★Outstanding performance controller
The Impact GXP61 (61 keys) and Impact GXP49 (49 keys) are the second and third models in a new series of USB/MIDI keyboard controllers designed for players. They feature semi-weighted, full-size keyboards, as well as footswitch and expression pedal jacks for maximum performance flexibility.
It also features instantly accessible performance features like the Realtime Repeat Engine, powerful plugin patch management with Nektarine, and of course Nektar DAW Integration.
The GXP series of USB/MIDI keyboard controllers is recommended not only for music production, but also for performers who can play the keyboard.
●High-end action keyboard
The semi-weighted keys, the core of the GXP series, have been newly developed to provide a balanced keyboard action. They are velocity-sensitive and support aftertouch.
You can also choose from five velocity curves to best suit your playing style, and three fixed velocity options are also available.
●Repeat function
The GXP series' unique repeat engine allows you to create rhythmic elements. RGB buttons give direct access to repeat rate, accent, interval, and swing. A large encoder allows easy tempo control, and it can even be synchronized to an external MIDI clock.
Nektar DAW Integration
By installing Nektar DAW Integration, you can control the main functions of major DAWs using the eight buttons and potentiometer knob on the top right of the unit. This is much more efficient than controlling the DAW with a mouse. You can control DAW transport, track selection, volume, open/close DAW windows, and more directly from the controller. Currently supports 12 DAWs.
●Nektarine: By installing the Nektarine software, a virtual keyboard workstation plug-in host and librarian, you can get more out of your everyday plug-ins. For example, you can combine multiple virtual instruments to create patches with zones and layers, and instantly recall them. It also has librarian functionality, so you can efficiently manage your large number of plug-ins.
Excellent connectivity: The AK4100 offers expressive options for live performances and studio work. In addition to the large pitch bend and modulation wheels, it also comes equipped with jacks for connecting up to three external pedals (one expression pedal and two foot switches).
It also has a MIDI out terminal and an external AC adapter (sold separately) terminal, which is convenient for controlling hardware sound sources in environments where there is no USB connection, such as on stage.
