The DTP640REX is a groundbreaking kick drum microphone featuring dual elements: a dynamic and a condenser. The high-quality dynamic element accurately captures the attack and kick, while the condenser element captures the rich resonance within the shell. This creates a more realistic drum sound than ever before. The independent outputs of both elements allow the engineer to achieve the optimal blend and dynamics control. Additionally, the mic features a three-position Enhanced Frequency Response control, which enhances the kick's frequency response. By focusing only on the dynamic element, you can capture a powerful kick with a natural resonance. Alternatively, you can activate both the dynamic and condenser enhancements, creating a kick with a rich body by enhancing the 70-150 Hz range, and a powerful kick by enhancing the dynamic element between 3-5 kHz.

Innovative dual-element (dynamic and condenser) design faithfully captures sharp attack and body resonance. Kick response can be set to dynamic only or both elements for a wide range of kick sounds. Frequency response optimized for kick and low-frequency instruments. Three-position attenuator (0dB, 10dB, 20dB) for high sound pressure levels. Durable hardened steel mesh grille. Integrated stand adapter for quick mounting and positioning. Rust-resistant gold-plated 3-pin XLR output connector. Includes dedicated case, DTP 40 Trs cable, and DTP 40 Lb leather bag.

About Lewitt: As a project manager at one of Europe's leading microphone manufacturers, Roman Perschon is an expert in determining what works and what doesn't when it comes to microphones. He still believed that by further honing his experience and raising the technical level, he could develop a microphone that would raise the standard of microphones. He also believed that the vision he had in his head and the sketch on paper could be realized. Roman left his job at a major microphone manufacturer, packed his backpack, and prepared to travel. While enjoying the journey, he also sought a partner to develop and manufacture a high-quality microphone that would bring his ideas to life. Among the people he met, some shared Roman's bold vision and wanted to work with him. The first person to share his passion was Ken Yang, a Sydney native born into the world's largest microphone manufacturer. Ken knew that his world-class microphone manufacturing facility could help him bring Roman's expertise to life, so he decided to join forces. From that vision and backpacking, a brand was born. Roman named the brand LEWITT.
