Description
Description
This time, we have a guitar that was shipped around 1970, after minor changes were made to the 1968 re-release. The original ebony black finish has been stripped off and the guitar has been refinished in ebony black.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 4.8 kg. The body is made of mahogany with a maple top and pancake construction. Originally ebony black, it has been recently refinished to ebony black. The bridge has been converted to a Nashville style. While there is some plating peeling and tarnish on the metal parts, the refinishing was recent and the guitar is in excellent condition overall. The strap pin, control knobs, switch knob, pickup rings, and jack plate have all been replaced.
【neck】
The neck is a three-piece mahogany with a small volute. The fingerboard is made of precious ebony. Like the body, the back of the neck has been refinished in ebony black, but the original serial number is still clearly visible. The tuners have been replaced with Grover 102G tuners, which function well with little variation in winding. The frets and nut have been replaced once and then filed down in our shop, ensuring excellent playability. The nut width is 42.7mm. The sturdy neck shape is one of the charms of this guitar.
[Electrical system]
The controls are the familiar Les Paul model: 3-way pickup selector, 2 volume controls, and 2 tone controls. The pickups have been replaced with "Toneism" pickups, reminiscent of the 1970s. The tone capacitor and output jack have also been replaced in-house. This guitar boasts a clear, thick tone with a good bite, a sweet, lustrous tone in the neck position, and a crisp humbucker sound in the bridge position.
