Les Paul Standard '60s Double Trouble
The Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble is a special edition model that has all the same features and functionality as the regular Les Paul Standard 60s model, but with an added touch of vintage style.
This time, we have a recommended high-quality pre-owned item made in 2025 in stock! It is a beautiful piece with little signs of use!
This limited-edition Les Paul differs from the standard Les Paul Standard 60s model in two ways: It features two open-type Burstbucker 61R and Burstbucker 61T pickups, each with a double classic white bobbin and the standard Burstbucker 61 Alnico 5 magnet.
The finish has also been changed. This model features a vintage color variation of the standard gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. While the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish replicates the pristine look of a 1950s guitar, the Les Paul Standard '60s Double Trouble features a slightly faded full-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer vintage color finish, recreating the natural patina that occurs over time. And because each color is hand-sprayed, the burst pattern will vary slightly from instrument to instrument.
This particular model is selected in Vintage Bourbon Burst color!
This is a unique piece where the lighter colored parts of the grain form a V shape!
Despite these additions, the beloved Les Paul Standard 60s remains the same: solid mahogany body with no weight relief, AA-grade figured maple top, Slim Taper-profile mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stopbar tailpiece, kidney-button Grover Rotomatic tuners, and gold top-hat knobs with silver reflectors and dial pointers.
The open-top Burstbucker 61R (neck) and Burstbucker 61T (bridge) are identical to the standard Burstbucker 61 except for the double Classic White bobbin. They are hand-built, use Alnico 5 magnets, and feature hand-wired Audio Taper pots and Orange Drop capacitors.
The combination of a double classic white bobbin and vintage finish gives the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble a classy vintage look at an accessible price.
The new product is limited to 500 pieces of each color.
