Description

momose Custom Craft Guitar

◆Momose's original updated "MJS"
The long-awaited offset shape model "MJS (Momose Jazz Style)" has been released in the Momose Original Series. It is packed with original features that reflect the feedback from our users over the years.
Named the MJS2, this guitar features an ash body. The beautiful grain of the wood, accentuated by the see-through color, and the excellent attack that only ash can provide, bring out the full potential of the original P-90 pickup.

This model comes standard with MS-type saddles that prevent strings from slipping off. This not only provides high tuning stability, but also produces a deep low-mid resonance and long sustain.

◆Momose Original's Commitment
The Momose Original head model, with its distinctive M-shaped hollow, is a testament to its Momose Original character. The Momose Original is a traditional shape, but with meticulous attention to detail.

◆Dropped joint While adopting a conventional plate joint to maintain the traditional sound characteristics, the plate is recessed. This prevents your hand from getting caught on the plate, even when playing in high positions near the joint, improving playability.

The fingerboard side binding is made of the same wood as the fingerboard, and is discreetly bound to allow for smooth playing from low to high positions. It also prevents the problem of fret burrs protruding from the frets.

The headstock has an adjustment hole that allows for smooth neck adjustment. The shape is also wider for easier adjustment.

①Series/Parallel Switch
Where a preset ON/OFF switch would normally be found, we've installed a "Series/Parallel Switch." This is what's known as a turbo switch. When the switch is on the right, the connection is parallel, and you can use the selector to switch between the front and rear pickups, just like with a regular guitar.
When the switch is on the left, the front and rear pickups are connected in series, increasing output. By being able to switch the large single-coil pickup to a thick, viscous tone like a humbucker, you can achieve a sound that is suitable for a wider variety of genres.
*When connected in series, the selector switch will not work, but the various knobs will still be usable.

②High-pass Filter
The preset volume position is equipped with a "High-pass Filter." When the pot is turned all the way up, high frequencies are passed, but when the pot is turned down, high frequencies are blocked. This allows you to create a sound that mellows the distinctive high-frequency tone of the JM model.

③Low-pass Filter
The preset tone position is equipped with a low-pass filter. When the pot is turned all the way up, low frequencies are passed, but when the pot is turned down, low frequencies are blocked.
