Description
Description
The Jazzmaster has continued to be very popular in recent years, and now we have a new model in stock that features a striking Sonic Blue finish with an anodized guard!
This Journeyman Relic guitar boasts a truly exquisite finish. It combines a premium alder body with a maple neck and slab-laminated rosewood fingerboard, featuring a Vintage '60s pickup with flat pole pieces. Enjoy the lustrous, fat tone of the neck position and the edgy sound of the Jazzmaster in the bridge position. While many Custom Shop Jazzmasters in recent years seem to feature an RSD bridge, this one features the traditional design. The 7.25 fingerboard radius and vintage frets combine to deliver a more authentic feel. With the rich resonance and meticulous finish you expect from a Custom Shop guitar, this is a must-have for anyone looking for a premium Jazzmaster.
As for the condition of this particular guitar, it has been relic-treated, making it difficult to distinguish in some areas, but there are some minor scratches that appear new overall, and some darkening on the headstock caused by the neck hanger. The frets remain at about 70% of their original height, and there are no issues with the neck or electrical system, making this a guitar you can enjoy for years to come. Even among highly sought-after Jazzmasters, Custom Shop models are rarely available, so don't miss this opportunity!
