The Mayones "Hydara" model, whose most distinctive feature is its headless design, is now in stock!
The Elite model we are introducing this time has specifications that seem to have inherited the wood materials of the Duvell Elite, and comes standard with a mahogany body, a 5-piece neck made mainly of wenge, a 6-point bolt-on neck joint, a sharp and solid body shape, an ebony fingerboard with stainless steel frets, and Luminlay side dots made of phosphorescent material, making it a model that uses materials worthy of the Elite name.

The Eye Poplar used on the body top has a distinctive grain and a RAW finish that brings out the natural texture of the wood.
Normally, burl grain, such as that found in Eye Poplar, has holes due to the characteristics of the wood, and these are generally filled in and treated, but this RAW finish features a wild look with a matte finish that leaves the holes of the burl grain intact. The look that brings out the natural grain of the wood creates a unique character.

The six-point bolt-on structure with a neck joint that has a large contact area between the body and neck increases the tightness of the fit between the body and neck, allowing the vibrations caused by picking to be transmitted efficiently from the body to the neck.This allows for the solid, natural resonance and crisp, responsive sound that are characteristic of bolt-on guitars to be retained, while also producing ample sustain.

The neck is a 5-ply laminated neck made primarily of wenge wood, allowing you to enjoy the heavy, hard, and sharp sound that is unique to wenge, as well as the quick picking response produced by the strong 5-ply neck.

As you can see, the headless design not only makes the instrument more compact and lightweight by eliminating the need for a head, but also eliminates resonance at the head, reducing the chance of sound vibrations clashing and allowing picking vibrations to be transmitted smoothly between the body and neck, eliminating dead spots and resulting in a more balanced sound. The metal part with the Mayones logo attached to the end of the neck is not just decorative; it adds mass to the headless design, which has no head mass, improving sustain.

The pickups are Mayones' genuine "Velvetrone" series "Ironside" and "Solium" pickups, newly adopted as standard in 2024. The bridge pickup features the high-gain "Ironside" with its fast attack response that follows your picking, while the neck pickup features the well-balanced "Solium" that produces soulful leads and silky clean sounds. These two genuine pickups create a sound that is uniquely Mayones.

The body end structure has a distinctive design look, but it also serves to make it difficult to touch the tuner while playing, preventing accidental operation, and has been designed from both a design and functional perspective.
