The ME-70 allows for sound shaping based on four effects: [COMP/FX] which offers a variety of effects including a compressor that provides sustain; [OD/DS] which allows you to choose from various distortion types; [MODULATION] which creates undulating effects such as chorus and phaser; and [DELAY] which can create tricky sounds. Each effect can be quickly switched ON/OFF with the pedal.
It also features pedal effects such as reverb and wah, which are essential for creating spatial sounds. You can create a wide range of guitar sounds by combining various effects.
Of course, the sounds you create can be saved as patches. Saving and recalling patches can be done quickly using pedals or footswitches, without requiring any complicated operations.

Its intuitive sound-shaping capabilities make it ideal as a first multi-effects unit or as a convenient secondary unit to take to the studio.
