A used "YAMAHA PSE-40A PROFESSIONAL SYSTEM EFFECTORS" has arrived!
Yamaha's first compact effects pedal series, "PSE," is a groundbreaking series that solves the problems associated with using multiple effects pedals, such as the complexity of setup, sound quality degradation, and issues caused by increased cable usage.
By standardizing the specifications, effects pedals could be fitted into dedicated pedalboards, and the power and signal lines could be handled by the pedalboard itself.
The "PSE-40A" that we have just received is a cartridge-type model that was released in 1983.
You can choose four of your favorite cartridges and integrate them into a dedicated system board for control. Of course, you can also freely arrange the order in which you connect the effects.
Compared to the "SB-100" and "SB-200," which were based on the idea of inserting PSE compact effect pedals, the process of changing effects has been simplified, and its small size and light weight are also strengths.
The cartridge can be easily replaced by simply sliding it and turning the screw, making it as easy to use as a multi-effects pedal.
In addition to individual ON/OFF switches for the four effects, it also features a footswitch that bypasses all effects.
By using two system boards simultaneously, you can operate them like a pseudo-switcher, for example, to "consolidate spatial effects" or "for guitar solos."
An EXT SELECTOR cartridge (line selector/loop box) is also included, allowing for a wide range of settings, such as creating a send/return loop.
The exterior shows signs of use, such as scratches and dirt, but it is in good working order.
Fully functional used units are becoming scarce, so don't miss this opportunity!

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
