Description

The BIGSBY Pedal is a groundbreaking polyphonic pitch shifter pedal that recreates string bending and vibrato effects, and features a traditional tremolo system and a BIGSBY tremolo arm.
The idea to create a BIGSBY-style pitch shift pedal came from a long-standing admiration for the unique feel, sound, and design of the BIGSBY style.
After two years of design and development, Gamechanger Audio is pleased to present what they believe to be one of the most capable and exciting pitch shifting tools on the market today.

Algorithm
Equipped with the SHARC(R) Audio Processor, the BIGSBY Pedal delivers smooth polyphonic pitch shifting at low intervals thanks to Gamechanger Audio's proprietary hybrid algorithm.
It has been meticulously tuned to preserve the natural tone and sound of electric and acoustic string instruments, including baritone guitar, bass guitar, guitar, mandolin, banjo, etc. Another key element of the BIGSBY Pedal's sound is the DETUNE parameter, a carefully crafted algorithm that emulates the imperfections and dissonant characteristics of traditional mechanical string instruments.
As a result, the vibrato effect produced by the BIGSBY Pedal is nearly indistinguishable from that of a conventional tremolo arm.

●Interface's unique spring-loaded foot pedal opens up a world of new strum patterns, bend combinations, and beautiful lap steel slide-inspired licks that were previously impossible to achieve with traditional tremolo systems.
The BIGSBY pedal is always on, meaning it can be activated simply by pressing the foot pedal. The algorithm ensures the smoothest possible transition between the DRY and WET (pitched) signals, allowing for seamless pitch bend in lead and melody lines as well as complex picking patterns.

●EXP OUT (Expression function)
You can use the BIGSBY as a unique spring-loaded expression controller that allows you to adjust DEPTH, RATE, and OFFSET.
The BIGSBY Pedal's Expression Output can be used in parallel with the pitch shifting algorithm or independently.
The BIGSBY pedal's FSW IN connector is compatible with all standard momentary or toggle-type footswitches with a TS (tip/sleeve) 1-4 inch jack (normally closed or normally open). It also works with dual-latching footswitches with a TRS jack (in which case only one side of the footswitch will function).

Pressing the footswitch engages Latch mode. When latched, the BIGSBY will hold a fixed interval determined by the current position of the DEPTH knob, eliminating the need to hold the BIGSBY pedal down for long phrases.
Even in LATCH mode, the BIGSBY foot pedal allows for momentary dive and detune up to two semitones. Pressing the opposite side of the foot pedal reverses the direction of the pitch shift.

MIDI IN (MIDI input function: 3.5mm type B terminal)

In addition to controlling all functions of the BIGSBY pedal via CC messages, you can also use a variety of other functions, such as creating and saving presets in 10 preset slots, and synchronizing the RATE parameter to a specific tempo (which can be finely divided).
