Description
Description
The Altitude control knob in the middle adds a rough, grainy fuzz sound that blends well with spatial sounds.
This combination of distortion and reverb creates a vast, desert-like landscape.
Of course, you can use it as a normal reverb without distortion (by setting the VERB knob below 12 o'clock), but I think the real joy of this pedal is turning the VERB to full on to create dissonant sounds and experience the ultimate climax.
The reverb level (VERB knob) can be increased up to 125%, allowing you to create a somewhat unique reverb space, which is one of the attractions of this unit.
Also, once the VERB knob is set past 12 o'clock, the wet volume increases, creating a noisy, lo-fi texture.
The reverb texture can be set to DARK or BRIGHT using a toggle switch, allowing for an even wider range of reverb expression.
When the distorted tones blend with the mysterious reverb to create a noisy space, you might even catch a glimpse of the DBA devil grinning.
