The PLASMA Pedal is a revolutionary approach to overdrive/distortion.
It uses a new and untried method of signal clipping.
Instead of overdriving LED circuits, transistors, or vacuum tubes,
The PLASMA Pedal alters the live instrument signal through a high-voltage plasma discharge generated inside a xenon tube.
Spontaneous Noise Gate
Turning the BLEND knob to maximum will fully discharge the gas inside the xenon tube, giving you a completely wet signal.
At the same time, this means that when you stop playing, the discharge in the gas tube is interrupted and no signal is output from the pedal.
This feature blocks out all extraneous noise, including instrument pickup and string hum, and adds extreme contrast between the individual notes played.
This noise gate effect makes the PLASMA Pedal a great choice for heavy riffs and sharp staccato solos.

The PLASMA Pedal converts the input instrument's audio signal into a rapid, continuous electrical discharge, resulting in massive, non-linear harmonic saturation, with an incredibly rich and responsive attack and cutting overtones and harmonics.
