Description
Description
Silver Spring Reverb (SSR) is a compact and easy-to-use digital/analog reverb with a pure, direct analog signal path, producing natural, ambient reverb without compromising the original sound.
The SSR bandwidth covers everything from the dark, warm reverb typical of amp spring reverbs to clear, crisp studio reverb.
- In order to keep the attenuation as natural as possible, no noise reduction system is installed.
The direct signal path is all analog and passes through the analog amplifier without any filtering.
- If the input is set lower than the maximum value, there will be no signal distortion or thinning.
- The reverb signal path uses filtering to create the natural ambience of SSR.
The SSR's sound is specially designed to provide the same effect when used with a clean signal, even under demanding distorted tones. While the SSR can be used before a distortion component, it is primarily designed to be used after. When using before a distortion component, use a low reverb setting.

CONTROLS
TIME:
Sets the reverb decay time. Turning clockwise increases the decay. Fully counterclockwise approximates a small-room decay, while fully clockwise approximates the large hall decay of a plate reverb. Settings around the center position provide decay times that match rhythmic chords and single notes.
TONE:
Adjusts the bandwidth of the reverb signal. Turning it clockwise produces a brighter reverb tone, while turning it counterclockwise produces a darker tone. Fully counterclockwise produces a typical spring reverb, while fully clockwise produces a studio reverb response.
Reverb:
Mixes the reverb component into the dry signal. At the fully counterclockwise position, the reverb component is turned off completely, and as you turn it clockwise, the reverb effect increases.
