■How String Saver works:
As the string moves and vibrates against the String Saver saddle, a thin film of Teflon is created. This acts as a lubricant, preventing the string from becoming too tightly gripped in the saddle and spreading the stress that tends to be concentrated in one spot over a wider area. It's clear how this makes the string less likely to break. String Saver saddles produce a deep, crisp tone that's similar to that of a vintage steel saddle, with a tone that sustains 25% longer than a brass saddle!
■How to install:
We recommend having this installed by a professional guitar technician. It is also a good idea to replace the strings at the same time. After installation, be sure to play the instrument thoroughly to allow the Teflon film to form properly.
