Based on the DTX-PRO, the DTX6 electronic drums come standard with the DTX-PAD, which combines a natural feel with quiet operation, and feature a newly developed kick pad and rack system.
The Yamaha DTX Series electronic drums are popular models that are quiet and easy to set up, making them perfect for enjoying at home, and equipped with features ideal for practicing, making them ideal for improving your drumming skills.
The newly released "DTX6 Series" is based on the new drum trigger module "DTX-PRO," which is equipped with newly sampled high-quality sound sources and a wide range of effect functions. It comes standard with the "DTX-PAD," which combines a natural feel with quiet operation, and also features a newly developed kick pad and rack system.
The lineup also includes four types of electronic drum sets, each of which comes standard with a drum stool and foot pedals, essential for performance. The modules are packed with features that will help you improve your drumming while having fun, including a practice function built into the module itself and the "Rec'n'Share" app for smartphones and tablets.
●Drum trigger module "DTX-PRO"
The DTX-PRO delivers the ultimate in sound quality, faithfully reproducing the authentic drum sounds and ambience recorded in renowned studios, delivering high-definition stereo sound. The deep, expansive sound allows for more expressive performances.
We've also developed a unique headphone amplifier circuit specifically for electronic drums, and paid utmost attention to the sound quality delivered to the performer through headphones. In addition to sound quality, the unit is packed with a variety of features, including a wealth of practice functions essential for improving your drumming skills, and a "KIT MODIFIER" that lets you freely modify the sound.
This is a new dimension of drum trigger module that excels in all aspects including sound quality, functionality, and operability.
●KIT MODIFIER
The DTX-PRO's new "KIT MODIFIER" function lets you freely change drum sounds simply by turning a knob. The "AMBIENCE" knob controls the overall reverberation of the drum sound. Settings from 1% to 50% of the knob replicate the ambience of the recording studio, while settings from 51% to 100% apply high-quality digital reverb. "COMP" aligns the sound particles and adds a compression effect that brings the sound to the forefront. "EFFECT" controls effects optimized for each drum kit's sound source.
It allows you to control the sound with simple operations and provides maximum support for creating the sound that drummers desire.

The DTX's extensive practice functions are carried over to the DTX6 series.
With a highly functional programmable metronome, recorder, 10 training functions to hone your sense of rhythm, and 37 training songs to learn a variety of genres, the DrumPad is packed with features that are useful for daily drum practice, from beginners to advanced players.

Yamaha's unique TCS head, the DTX-PAD, uses a foamed silicone material containing countless air bubbles inside, providing just the right amount of hardness and rebound to create a natural feel when playing.
● Dedicated app "Rec'n'Share"
The DTX6 series can be connected to the "Rec'n'Share" app for iOS/Android devices.
"Rec'n'Share" allows you to easily play, record, and shoot videos of your favorite songs, and then edit and upload them. It provides powerful support for practice, recording, and performance itself.
*To connect an iOS/Android device to the main unit, you will need a USB cable (sold separately) and a connector (sold separately) that is compatible with your device.
