The electric bass lineup is designed and manufactured under the supervision of bassist Tak Saito, who is deeply involved with the workshop, and leading Japanese luthier Yoshiyuki Kikuchi.
The "JB Plus" adds treble and bass controls to the ThreeDots Guitars JB, a guitar developed for working musicians with a vintage sound that combines excellent articulation and pitch stability. Based on the mission of "maximizing the passive sound of the JB without spoiling it," the JB Plus utilizes natural and practical shelving boost/cut controls while preserving the pickup's inherent sound. Kikuchi's signature exceptional response, wide range of sound, and unparalleled playability make this guitar a defining piece in the established "Japanese-made active JB" genre.
