Description
Description
FCGR (Freedom Custom Guitar Research) continues to captivate many players with the captivating sound of its high-quality instruments, crafted with an eye to the future while respecting the exceptional skills and traditions of its skilled artisans. This "Anthra" bass is a world-class original model that embodies the "essence of the instrument" that this workshop is so committed to.
Inspired by the Rhino series, this guitar boasts an original body shape with excellent fit and maneuverability, and a four-point neck joint with a bushing system allows smooth access to the upper registers. The newly developed, original bridge, machined from solid brass, combines a warm, rich tone with a clear bottom end. The lightweight alder body weighs just 3.80 kg for a five-string guitar, while the maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard produce a traditional tone with a vibrant midrange, while also producing a tight, powerful bass all the way down to the low B string.
While the standard specification is passive, this unit was ordered with active specifications. Even in passive mode, the Anthra has a rich sound, but the original 2-band EQ preamp allows for detailed sound shaping, making it even more practical. The frequency setting creates a natural variable curve, making it intuitive to use, just like a clean booster.
The body color is "Poltergeist," a color that can only be used on alder bodies, selected from Freedom's original color series. The natural depth of the alder wood is used as a base, and the see-through bluish-white color creates a ghostly, eerily visible image in the darkness. Combined with black parts, it creates a sharp look that is well-suited for both studio and live musicians on stage.
This model features FCGR's original, maintenance-free, and renowned Eternal Frets, an extremely thin finish that brings out the natural resonance of the wood, durability achieved through rigorous seasoning, and a setup that showcases the skill of our artisans for playability and acoustic characteristics. While retaining all the charm and enjoyment you'd expect from our workshop, we've managed to keep the price down by returning to a simple design and packaging it all together. Don't miss out on this custom-made model, which is crafted with an emphasis on both sound and looks!
