This is a custom-made model that we have poured our heart and soul into, with the image of "redefining high-end Japanese models."
Phoenix, the high-end brand of TUNE, a long-established Japanese brand, has released a custom-made guitar that is a modern revival of the GAP series, which was produced in large numbers in the early 1990s. Based on the neck-through GAP-518, the guitar features a beautiful, luxurious crotch walnut body top.
The GAP series has a larger body than recent models, which helps the wood's resonance to be transmitted firmly to the neck, resulting in a reputation for fewer dead spots. This model also features a cored, clear sound, making it a great choice for players who move freely from low to high positions.
The assembly is equipped with an original pickup and a low-noise GZP-2 preamp. The EQ controls are effective, and the TUNE/Phoenix's distinctive, powerful, and clear sound can be used for a variety of playing styles, from solid backing to flashy solos.
The body finish is a natural color, intentionally chosen to bring out the "crotch walnut" wood, a major feature of this model.The texture of the rare wood is maximized, resulting in a look that is both sophisticated and imposing.
The brand has made considerable efforts to keep the price down while using materials comparable to those used by high-end overseas brands.
