Description
Description
This is a sunburst color guitar shipped around 1971 with a popular rosewood fingerboard.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.9 kg. The body is made of alder, finished in a beautiful three-tone sunburst color with a slight reddish tinge. Two pickguard screws have been added to the right side, presumably to protect the pickguard from aging. While there is some weather checking, dents, and signs of use, as well as some tarnish on the metal parts, the instrument remains in relatively good condition, while retaining the feel of a vintage instrument. The first-string bridge saddle spring has been replaced, as has the finger rest.
【neck】
The neck is made of one piece of maple. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. There is some nice weather checking on the headstock, minor dents around the headstock and back of the neck, and some tarnish on the metal parts, but the guitar is in relatively good condition. The tuners are slightly loose but function well. The frets and nut have been replaced in our shop and filed down with a PLEK machine, ensuring excellent playability. The headstock is 16.7mm thick. The nut width is 40.2mm, equivalent to a B-neck. The neck profile is relatively sturdy.
[Electrical system]
This is the simple P-bass-style master volume/master tone control. The volume pot has been replaced and the wiring has been reworked with new solder. The pickups are in the same condition as they were when they were first installed. Needless to say, the response to picking is excellent, with a deep, booming bottom end and well-defined high mids.
