Description
Description
The new Sadowsky Metro Express Series, which took the world by storm with its excellent value and entry-level performance, has been updated with the long-awaited Sadowsky logo on the headstock. Beyond the logo, the new series aims for even greater heights with a roasted neck, new parts, and updated pickups. Features like a narrower nut width, slim round grip, 21-fret maple/molard fingerboard, a compact Dinky-shaped body, and a wide-range active circuit all retain the Sadowsky signature while delivering incredible value.
The body is made of okoume wood, which Roger personally prototyped in NYC and received rave reviews. It offers amazing lightness and excellent balance, on par with the higher-end models. The pickups are traditional single-coil style, producing a clear, tight sound. The tuners, bridge, and other hardware are the same as the higher-end models, and the preamp (switchable to passive) at the heart of the guitar is identical to the German-made model, recreating the familiar "NY sound" with its wide range.
This model features a maple fingerboard and a JJ pickup layout. Enjoy the clear, tight active sound that Sadowsky is known for. It also boasts surprising power for its class, while delivering a stable sound quality and sound image, allowing you to enjoy the exquisite balance that only our brand can offer. The nostalgic 2-band EQ, which eliminates passive roll-off tone, also serves as a nostalgic showcase of the straightforward appeal of our bass guitars.
While some parts have been simplified, this is a high-cost performance model that inherits the look and sound of the NYC/German model. It's recommended not only as an introduction to the original model, but also as a step up to the mid-range model. Give the Metro Express a try, as it could become a new worldwide standard.
