Description
Description
Maton is a famous brand that has been used for many years by Tommy Emmanuel, who is said to be the world's best acoustic guitar player.
The company's original models, which make extensive use of Australian wood, are carefully crafted on a high-quality production line and have captivated many musicians both in Japan and abroad.
The long-awaited new product from Maton is here!
This instrument, the ER90C-808, features an 808 cutaway shape, an AA spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany neck, which is a classic acoustic guitar design but quite unusual for Maton.
The body size is Maton's classic 808 shape. At 14-4/1 inches wide, it's between the 000 and 00, and has a deep body at 4-3/4 inches. Despite its compact, easy-to-hold body, it delivers solid sound pressure and a rich low end.
The body is deeper than the Traditional shape of the same model, so the center of gravity is more in the low mids, producing a thick, lustrous sound that is ideal for solo guitar styles.
The wide range and brilliant overtones in the high range that are unique to spruce and rosewood, along with the excellent response provided by the extremely thin satin finish, make this guitar suitable for a wide range of fingerstyle playing.
The pickup system is Maton's original AP5 Pro dual system, which blends an under-saddle piezo and a condenser microphone.
The under-saddle piezo pickup uses a "parasitic type" piezo pickup, which has an independent pole piece for each string. Because it can directly capture the vibrations of each string, even with just the piezo pickup, you can get a natural, powerful output with a sense of separation.
Blending this high-performance piezo pickup with a condenser microphone delivers the natural, vivid airiness of an acoustic guitar, delivering a stunning line sound that combines power and airiness. The condenser microphone's moveable gooseneck allows for fine-tuning to achieve the desired sound and eliminate feedback issues, a very welcome feature. Additionally, a low-frequency filter is applied to counter feedback, a common weakness of condenser microphones, making it less susceptible to feedback even in loud band situations, ensuring comfortable use.
In the preamp section, you can control the volume of each piezo and microphone, as well as the master volume that determines the overall volume, and a 3-band EQ.
This unique, high-performance system has earned the utmost trust and praise from many artists, both solo and band-style.
Playability, line sound, and natural resonance... It's rare to find a brand that makes high-quality guitars that hit all three of these criteria!
From practicing at home to on stage... it will be your reliable companion.
Don't miss this opportunity to purchase it!!
