Takamine, a long-established Japanese acoustic brand, is often used by musicians overseas and has now become one of the most well-known brands worldwide.Its electric acoustic guitar models in particular are a great fit for band ensembles, and are used by many famous rock musicians.
The DMP500 series has an original body shape that provides ample capacity while maintaining a smart look that doesn't make it feel large, resulting in a well-balanced, clear tone and an excellent fit that is suitable for any playing style.
It can be used for a wide range of music scenes, from stadium-class live performances to small live spaces where you can enjoy the live sound.
~ Preamplifier CT4-DX (DMP) ~
Takamine's CT4-DX preamplifier delivers unprecedented headroom with its 18V high-voltage drive powered by two 006P/9V batteries. It fully satisfies the wide dynamic range of an acoustic guitar, which has a wide minimum and maximum volume range, delivering a pure, distortion-free, and rich sound, from gentle strumming to hard picking that visibly vibrates the strings.
In addition to Takamine's original bridge pickup, Palastic, which is recognized by top professionals around the world, it also features a dual mode that allows you to connect any pickup you like.
Two EQs and a notch filter allow for equalization that maximizes the individual characteristics of each pickup, and the ability to freely adjust the mix and balance, providing unprecedented flexibility in sound.
In normal 1-pickup mode, two groups of EQ can be linked, providing control comparable to that of a professional PA console, with a 4-point EQ and two notch filters.
