Introducing a new germanium fuzz pedal featuring a new circuit developed by Tsuneo Akima!
Equipped with three germanium transistors, this unit produces an impressive, lively drive tone.
Like the brand's Bite Master booster/overdrive, the "Bite" adjusts the gain to bite into your picking, starting to produce a juicy distortion from 12 o'clock onwards. Combined with the "Gain" control, which adjusts the overall distortion, this pedal creates a thick, three-dimensional, and solid sound. While it's a fuzz pedal, it doesn't have a crushed attack; instead, its protruding presence and sharp low-end response give it a traditional, big sound reminiscent of a Plexi-Marshall.

This is not just based on vintage fuzz pedals from the past, but is a completely new type of fuzz pedal equipped with three germanium transistors, with a circuit designed from scratch while taking into account the sound of these historic masterpieces.
With many traditional British-style fuzzes, it was difficult to find the sweet spot, and even if you simply played with the control settings set to be intense and rough, you might not be able to hear it at all in the actual band ensemble, so it was not a practical way to create a sound.
Therefore, with the Germa Bite Super, we have designed it to suppress the saturation and low-frequency crush that have been weaknesses of previous fuzzes, and to produce even denser distortion.
And guess what?! It sounds just like the distortion of a 60s or 70s tube amp! And it has long sustain! This is the ultimate fuzz pedal.
As expected, germanium transistors are magical amplifying elements.
There are three controls: gain, bite, and level.
The output level is set very high, just like previous Akima & Neos products, allowing for very clear and smooth sound creation, just like the distortion and overdrive action.
