Description

PASSIONATTO is an overdrive/distortion pedal with a distinctive control that reduces distortion as you turn the GAIN knob.

It allows you to create sounds by mixing a clean signal with a violin distortion that features strong compression and long sustain.
It eliminates the vague intonation, poor sound projection, and muddy sound that are common with deep distortion.
It delivers an open, thick sound reminiscent of the legendary Centaur, even with ample gain.

A beautiful overdrive box with no unpleasant overtones.
Passionate has the power to push the sound forward without thinning it out.
To explain the Passionate tone, what I was looking for was a violin distortion, a thick, beautiful, lustrous distortion that also sounds like a clean tone. It's so beautiful, yet it brings the sound forward and lets the amp talk back.
It has a sharp response, fast attack, long sustain and silky tone.

PS. The GAIN knob is rotated in the opposite direction to normal. Turning it to the right produces less distortion, and turning it to the left increases the distortion. The battery is 9V, but if you use an alkaline battery, you will get a clear tone. If you use a manganese battery, you will get a mellow tone. Always use the same battery to maintain your favorite tone.
