We spent a lot of time thinking about all-pass filters, and you and me, and how frequencies are passed through in different time relationships, and how phasers and reverbs are created in the digital realm.
It's about how much memory space there is, or how it relates to the fourth dimension...

Old Blood Noise Endeavors' BL-52 Phase Repeater is part phaser, part delay, part reverb—an elusive creative device that pushes the boundaries of time-defined effects ever further, its sound transcending conventional boundaries and carving out an entirely unique category.
This mix combines a phase circuit with a delay, allowing for flexible control of time stretching to affect phase modulation. It creates a fluid phaser, a diffuse multi-tap delay, a watercolor-like reverb, and a sound in between, a blend of all three. It creates a unique atmosphere, with the size and materials of the space constantly changing.

How you play is up to you. Throw away your preconceived notions and let your brush stroke freely on the canvas.

The Clock control determines all aspects of the entire pedal, including the sample rate (which affects the signal resolution), the timing of the phase repeats, and the speed of the LFO (which shapes the blending of the repeats).
Feedback control affects the decay and trail, creating a mysterious reverberation that ebbs and flows like waves.
