Description
"Creating new sounds" was the keyword for the development of the FUTURE FACTORY FF-1Y. While many digital delays have previously featured modulation functions, the phase of the LFO (low-frequency oscillator) typically changes regularly at a set frequency. With the FUTURE FACTORY, we've succeeded in creating modulation sounds using a unique method that randomly changes the phase when the signal passes a certain attenuation level. This creates a completely new sound, with the sound shimmering and floating, filling the space. (This function is most effective when used in stereo mode.) The FUTURE FACTORY also features many other features, including a soft clipping circuit that distorts the delay sound and adds harmonics to create a warm delay sound reminiscent of vintage equipment, and a three-band EQ circuit with selectable frequencies to accommodate a variety of instruments. Furthermore, a wide variety of sounds can be created by switching the connection of the two built-in delays (parallel or series) for effect processing.
