Description

Designed by a Japanese engineer in the late 1970s, this overdrive pedal is undeniably perfect, used by countless artists and recordings to this day, and its sound has burned itself into our hearts and souls.

Famous players across all genres trust and use this pedal with its iconic green housing.
It is probably the most produced and sold guitar pedal in the history of guitar pedals.
The Bonsai is a tribute to one of the greatest pedals ever made.

Bonsai follows the same process as Muffuletta, which was released in 2015.
A simple rotary switch lets you switch between nine rare and hard-to-find vintage Tube Screamer variations.

By considering numerous versions, variations and replicas during the production process,
We've delved deeper into the archaeological history of this circuit, thoroughly recreating the nuances of each pedal.

One of Bonsai's biggest challenges was accounting for component drift, as these pedals were made decades ago and internal parts have deviated from their original values.

Using an Audio Precision Analyzer and a variety of other methods, we've perfectly recreated every aspect of the sound and feel of each unit, all in one box.
