FAQ

Description

The Moonshine V2 is a pedal for players looking for an overdrive pedal with a unique character that is not transparent. It is a highly modified version of the most famous green overdrive pedal. It is a versatile tone-shaping tool that can be used in genres such as blues, rock, country, jazz, and even hardcore and metal.

Moonshine V2 has the same basic sound as version 1, but now features a new Clean knob that allows you to add a clean signal to the overdriven signal. By switching the simple Proof toggle switch, you can cover everything from low-gain distortion that breaks up like an amp to a full 10 distortion sound.

The lower position of the switch provides a high gain setting with a saturated sound that produces long sustain, while the upper position provides a more open crunch sound with more headroom and volume range.

The tone control works very smoothly and doesn't have the harsh high frequencies that can be noticeable when the overdrive is set to a bright setting.

Like the JHS SuperBolt, the Moonshine is internally boosted from 9V to 18V,
Even when powered with 18V you still get the headroom, low end and punch you get when using 18V.

You may feel that Moonshine is the thickest and thickest overdrive you have ever used. We also recommend using Moonshine before distortion pedals, boosters, fuzz, etc. It can be used with a variety of amps regardless of style, making it suitable for a variety of music genres.
The Moonshine is also a great pedal for bass, and in fact it was originally designed for bass.

This pedal requires a standard 9VDC center negative power supply and draws less than 100mA.
Dimensions: 55.9mm x 109.2mm x 38.1mm
