Description
Description
Darkglass Electronics creates effects pedals that bassists truly desire. All pedals are handmade in Finland or the USA, and their high quality and easy-to-use parameters have earned them the support of many bassists. These effects, highly praised by bassists worldwide, including Justin Meldal-Johnsen of Nine Inch Nails/BECK and Bryan Beller, who has supported Steve Vai, will completely change the way you think about bass effects pedals.
The Microtubes B3K V2 retains all the features of the original while restoring the natural character of the midrange. The Attack switch has been replaced with a Tone knob, allowing for more precise control over the high-frequency content (3kHz to 8kHz). The Grount switch remains, but now also includes a Mid Boost, providing 6dB of boost from 300Hz to 1kHz.
The Microtubes B3K is essentially the same pedal we designed about 10 years ago, aiming for the perfect combination of brutal hard distortion and clear tone. This pedal offers intuitive control over powerful saturation.
Blend
Controls the mix balance between the clean signal and the overdriven signal. Regardless of the setting of the Level knob, which controls the volume of the overdriven signal, the clean signal remains at unity gain, and the Blend knob allows for fine adjustment of the mix balance.
Tone
Controls the high-frequency content of the sound. A variable low-pass filter ranging from 3kHz to 8kHz.
Level
Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.
Drive
Sets the amount of overdrive saturation.
Grunt
When turned ON, it produces a heavy low-end boost.
Mid Boost
It can boost frequencies from 300Hz to 1kHz by 6dB.
DIMENSIONS
11.3 × 7.5 cm
WARNING
The Microtubes B3K draws 20mA. Use a regulated 9V DC power adapter with a center negative polarity. Due to environmental considerations, it does not support 9V battery power (006P). Use of an unregulated power supply or a voltage higher than 9VDC may result in noise or damage to the unit, voiding the warranty.
