■High performance that inherits the original circuit of the famous VESTAX DCR-1500 isolator
VESTAX's first isolator, the DCR-1200, was designed with the idea of a crossover for club sound system speakers, equipped with three frequency band outputs and designed to be installed directly into the system.
However, it was discovered that there was a difference between the frequency ranges used in club sound systems and those that were effective for DJ performances, and the effect subsequently evolved into a DJ effect that was operated by the DJ at hand rather than by the system.
■An "isolator" effectively divides music, as opposed to a corrective "equalizer"
Generally, a "sharp isolator" refers to a state in which only the sounds you want to cut are cut, without the sounds you don't want cut out, but to achieve this, not only is the crossover angle important, but the frequency point is also important. When playing in a club, it is particularly important to be able to control "just the kick" or "just the hi-hat," and it is desirable that the mid-range not be strangely pulled in by the attenuation adjustment.
The DCR-2500F allows you to set the crossover frequency over a wide range, and what's more, it is stepless, allowing DJs to easily adjust it at hand. This means that you can freely set the crossover frequency for any type of music, going beyond the four-on-the-floor beats that traditionally required an isolator, allowing for isolation play across all genres. It's truly a new-generation isolator for today's diverse music scene.

●This is a sharp, high-performance isolator that inherits the basic circuit of the renowned isolator VESTAX DCR-1500.
●Two crossover frequencies with a wide range of settings can be easily adjusted steplessly while playing. Not only can you accommodate different kick and hi-hat frequency ranges depending on the song, but the act of moving the crossover frequencies itself can produce different effects (high-pass filter, low-pass filter, mid-pass filter, notch filter).
The resonance functions synchronized with the two crossover frequencies provide a filter effect in addition to the conventional isolator effect. This is the kind of effect that sounds like "scary" or "shocking," but in the case of this unit, it is not an unpleasantly strong effect that makes it difficult to recognize the original song, but rather a high-quality, refined, and subtle resonance effect.
To eliminate the small buzzing noise that occurs when switching effects on and off, this unit employs a VCA circuit, which has been proven effective in the crossfader section of the PMC-05PRO3/2/1 professional hip-hop mixer. The lever is also made of metal, so there's no need to worry about it breaking even during intense transformer play.
The built-in volume control and level meter not only allow you to set the volume to suit the connected device, but also make it easy to see whether the left and right signals are being received, even in a dark, cramped DJ booth.The effect on/off status can be checked by the color of the LED at the tip of the lever (green for ON, red for OFF).
●When connecting an input from a device with a small output, you can easily match the levels by turning on the +10dB gain switch located next to the jack.
●To facilitate smooth rotation, the simple cylindrical knob has no protrusions that may catch on your fingertips and is made entirely from luxurious machined aluminum.
