Oz Design is a Japanese handmade brand that produces microphone preamplifiers, studio rack compressors, DIs, etc. It is a brand that is highly trusted by professional musicians such as Futoshi Sakai and is definitely worth paying attention to.
This is a fully discrete active DI that Oz Design, which has previously only produced transformer-type passive DIs, has finally released.
It has an input circuit whose characteristics are not affected by the impedance or level of the input signal source, and uses a translinear driver stage to enable efficient, high-quality (low-distortion) output even in situations where a large current such as phantom power is not available.The design is based on the theme of a drop of water and exudes a dignified and calm atmosphere in the midst of silence.
*The drop of water (white light) on the top panel will only light up when the adapter is connected.
