High-quality pocketable preamp and amp simulator

The SIMPLIFIER BASS STATION features a preamp section with gain, volume, high, mid, and low 3-band EQ with a mid-frequency control, as well as a cabinet simulator with multiple selectable types, allowing you to deliver powerful bass sounds reminiscent of an Ampeg SVT to PA consoles, recording equipment, and stage amps.

■ Versatile Preamp Stage The preamp stage is based on the Ampeg SVT. This amp stands out for its character, versatility, and clarity. It features flexible EQ with +- 15dB per band and a switchable midrange from 400-900-1200Hz. At most gain settings, the amp is tight and clear, but as you increase the gain, it growls like a real Ampeg SVT.

■ Parallel signals
The SIMPLIFIER BASS STATION splits the input signal into parallel lines, bypasses the preamp, and features a switchable low-pass filter (100Hz, off, 500Hz). This clean signal blends with the preamp tone, allowing you to overdrive the preamp while maintaining low-frequency response and natural dynamics.

■ Cabinet Simulator The cabinet simulation has been carefully designed to give you the most distinctive cabinet tone.
- Closed-back 8x10 for tight, punchy bass.
- Vented 1x15 for warm, creamy mids and thick bass.
- Bent 4x10 for a more open, wide-range response.

A speaker color switch (Warm, Bright, Modern) simulates different bass speaker materials and shapes, affecting dynamics and mid-range response, while the resonance and mic position controls let you adjust the exact amount of high-frequency brightness and low-frequency cabinet resonance you need.

■ Dual effects loop
The SIMPLIFIER BASS STATION is equipped with two effect loops.
You can use different effects in the main (preamp) and parallel signal chains. The possibilities are endless: a compressor on the parallel signal, a chorus on the preamp, a delay to repeat the low frequencies, or even a volume pedal to control the parallel blend in real time.
