AKIMA & NEOS is a handmade effects pedal brand created by Akima Tsuneo of Marchosias Bump, a band that gained popularity for its glam rock-based sound.

The King Rocker Bass II is a bass drive pedal that produces a natural, fat distortion similar to that of a tube amp. Its controls consist of three knobs (Mist, Bite, Level) and a master volume. Mist adjusts the low-mid boost gain, Bite adjusts the high-mid boost gain, Level adjusts the Bite volume, and Master adjusts the final output. Its tube-like distortion is indescribably delicious, with a bold, firm distortion that creates an overwhelming presence.
