GRACE design's "MOXi" is a preamp dedicated to acoustic instruments. It is a newly developed, high-quality 2-channel preamp/EQ/DI for acoustic instruments.
This model occupies the "new sweet spot" in the pedal lineup, inheriting the highest-end audio performance from the higher-end "FELiX" model, while offering easier handling and an operating feel closer to the "BiX."
For players who need two channels of great-sounding preamp/EQ, but don't need a full-featured setup, the MOXi is the perfect fit.
◆Compact, 2-channel design. A "just right" preamp dedicated to acoustic instruments.
GRACE design has developed numerous studio microphone preamps that are specialized in capturing acoustic sounds such as instruments and vocals with extreme accuracy and musicality. Their ability to beautifully capture even the most delicate vibrations in the air has earned them high praise as pedals for acoustic instruments.
The FELiX2, which can mix the sound of piezo PUs, magnetic PUs, and microphones, is a two-channel model with all the possibilities and functions, but it is expensive and sometimes has too many functions for users who do not use condenser microphones.On the other hand, the ALiX and BiX are single-channel models and cannot be mixed (or switched).
The MOXi is a "just right" stage preamp/EQ/DI that offers two-channel functionality while achieving a simpler functional configuration and significantly more compact size. It offers the same high-end sound quality as the top-of-the-line model FELiX2, while also adopting easy-to-use functions similar to those of the BiX.
The power supply is 9V and is designed to be easily integrated into a pedal board.
You can blend two types of pickups or switch between two instruments.
◆High-performance EQ section and 10dB variable boost.
It is equipped with all the functions necessary for performance, including an independent 3-band EQ (MID parametric/125Hz to 4kHz) for each channel, a high-quality high-pass filter, a high-impedance input of 1MΩ, a 6V power supply for small electret condenser microphones, phase reverse, a balanced DI output, and an amplifier output.
If you need even more volume, a variable 10dB boost can be added instantly with the footswitch.
It can be used to boost solo parts, as well as to equalize the volume difference between fingerpicking and picking on an acoustic guitar, or between fingerpicking and bowing on an upright bass.
It allows for delicate yet powerful tone and sound creation.

MOXi's powerful FX loop features send and return jacks for external effects (both 1/4" jacks), making it the perfect companion for both effects-packed pedalboards and bare-bones utility boxes.
The send remains active even when you press the MOXi's mute switch, so you can connect a tuner pedal to the FX loop for silent tuning with stage audio completely muted.
The three footswitches, which control channel selection, boost, and mute, are designed for easy operation on stage.
