FISHMAN has released an A/B/Y pedal featuring level-adjustable A/B outputs, a DI, a boost switch, a Y split, and a two-channel mixer.

It packs all the tools you need into one compact pedal: an adjustable level A/B pedal, a boost pedal with built-in DI output and ground lift, an output Y splitter, and a 2-channel mixer.

The AFX Pocket Blender is the ultimate A/B/Y pedal, combining four essential tools. It can also be used as a mini 2-channel mixer, allowing you to connect and blend two audio sources without touching the A/B function. This is ideal for dual-source systems, such as a Fishman soundhole pickup with a microphone or body pickup. Build a simple blender by configuring "A Mix" and "B Mix." Press the footswitch to toggle between one mix and the other. Mix A allows you to balance the onboard pickup (50%) with the onboard microphone (50%). Then, for Mix B, which you'll use for solos, you can leave the microphone at 50% and boost the pickup to 75%. Just press the footswitch and you're done!

And Fishman's unique AFX Dual Path ecosystem lets you use a standard TRS audio cable to assign effects to either the tip or ring signal path, essentially switching between two "scenes" and controlling the mix level of each.



■POCKET BLENDER USER GUIDE
Dual Path: All AFX Minis are compatible with standard guitar instrument cables and also feature an innovative Dual Channel Audio Path, allowing you to create two independent effects chains over a single cable.

DC Power Supply: To pack so much functionality into such a small stompbox, the AFX Mini requires an external power supply. To ensure the above specifications, be sure to use a Fishman 910-R (120VAC) or 910-U (230VAC) power adapter.

Footswitch: Pressing the footswitch toggles between Mix A, Mix B, or Mute, as determined by the A/B Mode switch described below. In order to provide a completely analog product, A/B LED status was not possible. This is the same as other passive A/B pedals, so the LED simply indicates that the pedal is receiving adequate power.

・Input mixer
There are four input faders, allowing you to set two mixes, one for A and one for B. Pressing the footswitch toggles between these mixes sent to the outputs. How these levels are mixed and routed is ultimately determined by the A/B mode switch located just above the mix faders.

A/B Mode Switch: Pressing the footswitch toggles between the mixes you set up for A and B above, but there's a little twist: the A/B Mode switch lets you mix these signals in a variety of ways.

ABY and DI outputs
Unlike other pedals in the AFX family, the AFX Pocket Blender does not exclusively process effects for either the tip or ring signals. Instead, it is a master controller for selecting, mixing, and outputting these tip and ring signals. For this reason, we have provided two independent outputs to make it easy to manage your audio path needs.

Ground Lift Switch: The small switch on the front of the pedal is designed to electrically isolate the pedal from other electronic equipment. Normally, you should leave this switch set to Ground. If you experience ground hum, set this switch to Lift.
