The Byzance Foundry Reserve series is a special selection of cymbals. MEINL's cymbal craftsmen have hammered in layers of tone and nuance to create works of art with a rich, musical sound. But that's only half the story; the unique hand-hammered marks add a visually stunning touch. Additional hammering creates multiple deep depressions in the surface, which, combined with full-body razing on both sides, produce a clear, dry stick attack and a rich, supporting bass response.


The Byzance Foundry Reserve Series crashes have a unique character compared to other crashes in the Byzance series. They offer a very dark, sparkling response and a short decay, making them ideal for use as light rides for drummers looking to get the most out of a minimal cymbal set. This is due to the combination of a razed surface and extensive hand hammering. Their medium weight produces a rich, full-bodied sound at the peak of the crash.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
