Description
Description
[We have some exquisite pieces in stock, selected by MEINL staff at the factory for Drum Station!]
The Byzance Foundry Reserve series is a special selection of cymbals. MEINL's cymbal craftsmen have hammered in layers of tone and nuance to create works of art with a rich, musical sound. But that's only half the story; the unique hand-hammered marks add a visually stunning touch. Additional hammering creates multiple deep depressions in the surface, which, combined with full-body razing on both sides, produce a clear, dry stick attack and a rich, supporting bass response.
The Byzance Foundry Reserve Series hi-hats feature a thin top weight and a medium-thin bottom weight. This combination makes them versatile for both studio and stage situations, especially when delicate touch and nuance are required. Stick response is warm and fat, with a slight openness that creates a pleasant sizzle. The foot sound is powerful, balanced, and articulate, making them suitable for a wide range of gigging genres.
