[We have a used, handmade custom snare drum in black iron, 14" x 6.5", crafted by master craftsman Greg Kepplinger, who specializes in thick metal shells!]
The Greg Kepplinger snare drum offers a high-level mix of overwhelming volume, extremely sensitive response, and all the elements you want in a snare drum.
The solid, punchy attack and bold mid-low range are impressive. Experience this powerful sound for yourself.

He has many different roles as a drummer, percussionist, and drum tech.
When he got his hands on a vintage drum, he wanted to make his own drums, so he procured stainless steel material from a pipe factory in Seattle and started manufacturing them.
One of the units from the first production lot was used by the late jazz drumming legend Elvin Jones, and the name of the drummer quickly became known in the drumming world.
After collaborating with drum manufacturers such as GMS and AYOTTE, he founded his own company, KEPLINGER DRUMS, which produces and sells not only drums but also a variety of drums and percussion instruments, including cymbals, tinkling drums, and shakers.
