Precision and power of 20-ply

The Marlin's 20-ply shell is constructed from two sonically superior hardwoods: maple, which focuses on a warm tone, and birch, which is suited to a direct, bright sound, stacked vertically and horizontally.
The shell is expertly finished in black tulip with a beautiful double maple pinstripe.
The Merlin's response covers the full range of tonal characteristics, from warm and resonant to crisp and tight.
There are also 14x6.5 and 14x5.5 options available, each with its own distinctive sound, allowing for a wide range of tones to be played.
The Merlin's musical versatility is immediately apparent as you begin to play, with uncompromising response no matter how high the head tension is.
You can tune it for a rich, warm resonance to create a dry, funky sound, or increase the tension to create a bright, clear attack.
The Marlin is a snare that allows drummers to feel every nuance of their playing.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
