Serial number: 220664
Manufactured from a used PMC-27mk2 manufactured in 1999, carefully recycled and with three channel faders upcycled to rotary types (using official VESTAX parts).
About the PMC-27mk2
In 1996, the four-on-the-floor style, which uses crossfaders to perform extremely detailed mixing, became popular, and the vertically long "PMC-17" was released, which had a sub-channel in the center of the 2-channel mixer and 3-band EQ for all 3 channels.
The following year, in 1997, the higher-end model, the PMC-27, was released, featuring a luxurious champagne gold anodized aluminum panel and the addition of kill switches (3-band isolator switches) to both the PGM1 and PGM2.
In 1999, it evolved into the PMC-27mk2. A cue level meter was added, allowing users to visually check and compare volume levels before raising the channel fader. It also had extensive external effect connection functionality, allowing users to easily select whether the send position for each channel was pre-vertical fader or post-crossfader. The former was ideal for use with modulation effects, while the latter was ideal for when you wanted to cut the delay sound with the crossfader but still retain it.
■Upcycled Contents: Vestax's corporate color red panel, Vestax's traditional anodized aluminum knob with the logo, and a newly created dedicated PCB with the logo printed on the back have been used to create the rotary channel replacement kit "DF-27 EX." The DF-27 EX is installed on three channels: PGM-1, PGM-2, and SUB. A magnetic spacer has been used to adjust the top surface of the DF-27 EX panel so that it is flush with the main unit.
As this is an outlet product, there may be scratches and dirt on the exterior. There may be minor scratches or stains that cannot be removed on the main body or knobs. Please note that this does not affect the DJ mixer's original functionality or performance (sound quality and operability). Also, it does not come in the manufacturer's presentation box, but is packaged in a plain, thick cardboard box.
