1 year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase
---
The warranty period for the Playdifferently MODEL 1 covers only natural failures within one year from the date of purchase. Damage or failures outside the warranty period will be repaired at a cost. The warranty period is based on the date of purchase, so the warranty period will not be extended if the product remains unopened and unused for a period of time after receipt, or if the product is used once and then stored in its box with little use.
In the unlikely event that an initial defect occurs, the product will be repaired. Please note that there are no replacements or loaner units available.
Also, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about damage to the outer box, scratches or dirt on the unit itself, the weight or feel of the knobs/faders, misalignment of the center detent, etc. Cancellations and returns are not accepted after purchase.
*Due to the manufacturing process, dirt, scratches, etc. may be found on the main body. Please be aware of this in advance. Please understand that cosmetic issues are "product specifications." Only items with "usage problems" will be considered initial defects.
When a Playdifferently product needs repair, it takes time to order parts and check the condition. Depending on the nature of the repair, it may take 2-3 months or more. In such cases, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or provide a replacement unit. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please understand the above before placing your order.

★The ultimate analog mixer, MODEL 1, developed by Richie Hawtin and Andy Jones★
Developed by Andy Rigby-Jones and co-designed by Richie Hawtin, the MODEL 1 is a performance mixer that features the finest analog circuitry, combining uncompromising quality and intuitive operability, and was the result of two years of discussion and testing with top artists and club engineers in the electronic music community.
The MODEL 1 consists of six input channels and two stereo return input channels, and offers a wide range of functions including input preamp drive control, hybrid filter/sweep bell EQ, dual cues, dual mixer linking, and balanced TASCAM DB25 connector connections.
This is a pure analog mixer that incorporates the design techniques of the highest quality studio consoles, including a balanced mix bus and seamless filter and master EQ with high-voltage power rails.
■ 2 stereo sends
Two AUX controls route the channel signals to the Aux Mix outputs for use with external effects processors or local monitors.
AUX 1 can be used to switch between PRE or POST fader, and AUX 2 is set to POST fader.
■2 Stereo Returns Two stereo channels suitable for return input from external effects or other sources, with input drive circuits and trims for routing to both Cue A and Cue B.
Each return has visual metering for signal level, a rotary level fader to control mix amount, return 1-2 low-cut EQ and master filter routing.
■Three high-performance phono preamps: Equipped with three high-performance turntable inputs optimized for club environments, minimizing the imbalance in tone between vinyl and digital audio while eliminating feedback of unnecessary frequencies.
Each phono input has turntable earth binding for added flexibility.
■ Sculpting EQ
The Sculpting EQ, consisting of a FREQ for manipulating a specific frequency band and two control volumes for CUT/BOOSTing it, functions as a semi-parametric bell filter. The EQ's CUT/BOOST is asymmetrical, with a maximum value of +8dB and CUT corresponding to -20dB, allowing for frequency band manipulation over approximately seven octaves.
■CONTOURING Low & High Pass Filter As the name suggests, these two controls allow you to "controur" the frequency range of your audio signal.
The design is such that the original sound is not compromised even when traversing each frequency band, and the high-pass and low-pass filters have a gentle Q.
■Analog drive control The DRIVE control on each input channel adjusts the clip level of the input signal to the preamp of each channel, bringing about a harmonic distortion effect to the sound.
■Balanced mix bus
It features a fully balanced main mix bus with the quality found only in high-end analog studio consoles, including a dynamic range of over 110dB, reduced noise and crosstalk, and thorough hum rejection.
