Featuring high-torque motor-driven platters, enhanced Stems control, a MAG FOUR crossfader and four Precision Feel Faders, it's an excellent choice for performance-conscious professionals.

The PERFORMER features 7-inch, high-torque die-cast aluminum platters with acrylic discs that feel just like real records. The discs are magnetically attached to the platters, providing accurate feedback at all times. Each platter is centered around a 3.5-inch, high-resolution LCD display that shows deck information, waveforms, album artwork, and library views. A "Day Mode" inverts the screen contrast for optimal visibility, even in sunlight.

The MX400 features four PRECISION FEEL faders. These tension-adjustable faders use the same mechanism as the MAG FOUR faders, but are mounted horizontally relative to the vertically positioned circuit board. This provides an incredibly smooth, reliable and precise response when playing. The faders can be customized via the onboard menu, with fader inversion and cut-in curve characteristics adjustable from 0-100%.

With four unique options for controlling the STEMS control system, PERFORMER sets a new standard for creative open-format DJing. PERFORMER also features RANE's exclusive STEMSPLIT function, which automatically splits a cappella and instrumental sections across two mixer channels when a song is loaded.
This allows you to add FX to each element and create your own unique arrangement on the fly.The Stem Level function turns each channel's 3-band EQ into a tune knob to adjust, kill, or boost each element.

Expanded FX Features 29 fully customizable main FX with paddle triggers and four knob-controlled channel FX give you the flexibility to add your own unique flavor. This powerful FX suite includes classic effects like reverb and echo, as well as new effects like scale down, recycler, and riser.

The fader FX suite featured on the RANE SEVENTY A-TRAK SIGNATURE EDITION mixer has been fully ported to PERFORMER, allowing you to use the PRECISION FEEL volume fader as linear control for roll, pitch, and ring modulation. Seamlessly switch between the built-in hardware FX and Serato software FX, providing a wealth of options for any style.
