We have a used California Series conga set from GON BOPS, their flagship model manufactured in the USA!

~Gon Bops~
Founded in 1954 by Mariano Bobadilla, a highly regarded conga builder, this legendary percussion brand began by crafting classic Cuban-style congas and has since gained worldwide recognition for its innovative technology while preserving traditional techniques. The original crown hoop featured in the California series remains a favorite among percussionists today, and the company offers a wide variety of models, including box cajons with a more authentic sound, manufactured in Peru, and hand percussion instruments with unique designs.


The California Series is a model manufactured at our California factory using carefully selected, high-quality red oak cut from the Appalachian Mountains, using the same traditional methods as when the company was founded in 1954.
The California Series' top ring is designed with a tight profile, allowing for traditional playing style with the string held between your knee, while the sleek, traditional bottom ring is welded and molded to achieve a wide tuning range without the need for any extraneous parts.
It features a simple design that puts less strain on the player when playing and a solid, high-pitched sound.
Although production was discontinued at one point, it has now been remanufactured in Canada and is now back on sale.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
