Ableton Push is your instrument for playing, creating, and performing expressively without distractions. Use Push alone to create fluidly evolving melodies and multi-articulate beats, or use Push as the core and combine it with other gear to create your own unique sound.

■Expressive power
Push's 64 MPE-enabled pads detect your finger pressure and placement on the X and Y axes, giving you precise control over each note. Feel the pads and transform the sound as you play.

You can play with bends and slides, add filters and effects to parts of a chord, and play multiple instrument articulations per pad. Fingerdrums offer timbre variations that are close to those of a natural drumhead, whether you're creating acoustic or electronic drum sounds.

■Connectivity Connect external instruments, synths, and effects directly to Push's built-in audio interface and record directly to Set in standalone mode, or to Ableton Live in control mode.

The audio interface features two balanced inputs and outputs, plus a headphone output for main or cue outputs, and can be expanded to 10 inputs and 12 outputs using the ADAT extender.

If you're using a combined Eurorack/Push setup, you can use the footswitch jack to send gate and CV signals to your modular gear. Connect a class-compliant MIDI keyboard or controller to Push to play the built-in instruments, or send MIDI from Push to synthesizers or other hardware to further expand your computer-free setup.

Push's navigation is designed to get out of the way so you can focus on creating. Easily access sounds and devices from your library, quickly edit MIDI with the jog wheel, and see your session and device details at a glance with the large LCD display.
