Connect a synth or groovebox directly to the line input. The 4i4's extensive line inputs and outputs let you connect your favorite outboard gear. Capture every nuance: Equipped with the same 24-bit/192kHz converters as Focusrite's flagship interface RedNet, used in high-end studios around the world, you can capture every nuance of your performance and sound quality into your music.

The Air mode, one of Scarlett's signature features, has been redesigned to offer two modes: analog presence boost and harmonic drive. Just like the classic consoles found in famous studios, it can add brilliant presence and rich harmonics.
This feature will become an essential part of your recordings, bringing lead vocals and instrument tracks forward in the mix.

Let Scarlett handle your level adjustments. Dynamic Gain Halo's highly visible LEDs make it quick and easy to set levels for any microphone. The newly added Auto Gain feature lets you let Scarlett handle the level adjustments. Simply press the button, play for 10 seconds, and your input level will be perfectly adjusted.

No need to worry about clipping. The Clip Safe feature* checks your performance with precision unmatched by any engineer. It checks the input signal up to 96,000 times per second, sensitively detecting volume changes while recording and automatically adjusting the gain if there's a risk of clipping. This eliminates the worry of ruining a take, allowing you to focus solely on your performance.

◎ Comprehensive monitoring features: The uniquely designed headphone amplifier and wide dynamic range provide the best monitoring environment in Scarlett history. Equipped with a line output boasting a dynamic range of 120dB, the headphone output is compatible with high-impedance headphones, allowing for louder, clearer monitoring than ever before. All models offer independent control of headphone and speaker output, allowing for flexible adjustments for recording, mixing, and playback. The 4i4 uses four line outputs, allowing for output to multiple speakers or external devices, supporting a variety of monitoring environments.

Loopback: The Loopback function allows you to sample stereo signals from your PC output or PC applications into your DAW. Route these signals through Scarlet t's virtual channels, allowing you to incorporate your computer's audio output into your live stream.

This software is essential for fully utilizing Scarlett's features, including sample rate adjustment, loopback on/off, and, on the Scarlet t4i4, direct monitor routing of input signals. The software also provides access to Scarlett's front panel functions, allowing you to adjust input gain and turn Air, Autogain, ClipSafe, and 48v buttons on/off, even away from the interface. Every time you link with Scarlett, Focusrite Control 2 checks for updates, keeping your Scarlett always up to date.
