The Noah'sark Development Series / Octopass 8, a new shielded cable jointly developed with Oyaide Electric, is now on sale!
By adopting a twisted pair structure, which is extremely rare for shielded cables for musical instruments, we have created a shielded cable that achieves ultra-low noise.
[What is the twisted pair cable used in Octopass 8?]
It has a higher noise canceling effect than normal shielded cables and is one of the optimal transmission methods for minimizing transmission loss.
The twisted pair structure cancels out noise generated within the cable, transmitting the instrument's original signal unchanged.
Octopass 8 is a product of applying this technology to musical instruments and redesigning it to bring out the full potential of the instruments.

◆High-quality cable focused on low noise and stable pitch ◆Double shielding structure of high-frequency aluminum tape + tin-plated copper braided shield blocks external noise across a wide frequency range ◆Specialized for low-impedance transmission, it preserves low- and high-frequency information that is rolled off with regular shielded cables ◆The conductor cross-sectional area is equivalent to AWG15, more than twice the thickness of regular shielded cables, providing excellent performance as a guitar shield for high-impedance transmission
Why did we create Octopass 8?
Many musicians, both professional and amateur, are increasingly coming into close contact with the recording environment.
Octopass8 was designed with a focus on "recording," the process of recording sound, with the aim of bringing out the potential of musical instruments.
In order to better record the character of the instrument, we have focused on low noise/high range, maximizing the individuality of the instrument itself that cannot be achieved through post-recording processing alone, allowing us to better convey the player's intentions.
Furthermore, we secured high quality through the development of Oyaide Electric, a cable manufacturer highly trusted by musical instrument users. This has resulted in a high-quality cable that is cost-effective.
*Due to the cable structure, it is not easy to handle. It is not recommended for use in situations requiring movement, such as live performances.
*Cables have a directional design. The arrow on the cable indicates the direction in which the signal flows.
