Description

[Product Features]

The VAB series is a new balanced cable created by VITAL AUDIO for recording systems.

At VITAL AUDIO, we are developing products that meet the needs of our users and the times.
The VAB series is a lineup that is ideal for the now-standard home recording (DTM) environment.

This time, we have completely redesigned the plugs to make the sound more clearly defined.
The phone plugs are original nickel plugs, and the cannon plugs are the NEUTRIK XX series nickel-housing NC3MXX/NC3FXX.

It creates a sense of unity with the plating on the wire braided shield.

The VAB cable uses a four-core structure, which increases the conductive volume and produces a clear, wide-range sound. Shielding the four cores increases the effectiveness of preventing noise interference, resulting in a noiseless cable.

The unique clear outer shell, combined with the beautiful finish of the internal shield, creates a luxurious feel. The internal braided copper shield is plated to prevent oxidation, ensuring long-term use.

We paid attention not only to the wire material but also to the plugs, using the well-known NEUTRIK for the XLR plugs and an original plug for the TRS phone cable.
To fully utilize the capabilities of today's high-quality audio interfaces, it features a nickel-plated finish that enhances the sound image.

The plug cap that comes with the plug also features an original design, giving it a distinctive VITAL AUDIO presence.

●This is a cable with a combination of XLR-M (male) and TRS.
This cable is primarily used as a line input cable.

Used to connect the output of an audio interface to the input of a monitor speaker.

Most audio interfaces use TRS phone jacks for output.
You can connect it using TS phone cables, but to get the full performance, you need to connect it using TRS phone cables.

■ Made in Japan
VITAL AUDIO products are produced in Japan, from the wire to the plugs, using higher quality materials.

The materials are then carefully assembled one by one by Japan's top skilled craftsmen at specialized factories in Japan.

■ Internal conductor structure: By arranging the conductors in parallel, sound transmission is stabilized and sound quality is improved.
In addition, by shielding all four conductors together, we have been able to prevent noise interference and keep costs down.

■ The insulator that wraps the electron-irradiated cross-linked polyethylene conductor is made of electron-irradiated cross-linked polyethylene material.
Cross-linking improves heat resistance and makes the wire more resistant to heat. This prevents the wire from overheating during soldering, which can cause the insulation to melt, and provides excellent protection for the conductor.

■ Soft PVC
The sheath (outer jacket) is made of soft PVC, making the cable flexible and easy to handle, while also maintaining its strength.

■ Plug
The XLR plugs use the industry standard NEUTRIK NC3FXX and NC3MXX.
TRS phones are manufactured from scratch by VITAL AUDIO and feature a consistent design across the entire lineup, making them instantly recognizable as VITAL AUDIO products.

In addition, nickel plating is used to clarify the sound contours and achieve a taut sound.

■ VAB development story When developing the balanced cable VAB, we started by looking at the product lineup offered by Hook Up, the brand holder of VITAL AUDIO.
The term DTM has become widespread, and recording at home has become easy. In this day and age, people have begun to pursue particular preferences for instruments, audio interfaces, monitor speakers, etc.

Hookup also handles many audio interfaces and monitor speakers, and we thought about the cables that connect them.

How many users are particular about these cables?
What would actually happen if you changed the cable?

So we discussed this with the factory staff and tried out a number of different cables and plugs.
Then I realized that the phone jack on the audio interface was TRS specification.

The difference in resolution between casually inserting a TS plug and inserting a matching TRS plug was immediately obvious.
Given this, we decided to create a line of cables in VITAL AUDIO's lineup that was specialized for DTM, which led to the development of the VAB series.

In creating a balanced cable with noise protection, we adopted a four-core internal core structure to differentiate it from existing products, resulting in a cable with clearer sound and a wider range.

When producing these cables, it would be a waste to simply use XLR-M/TRS cables for connecting to speakers, so the current lineup also includes XLR-F/TRS cables for connecting to outboard mic preamps, XLR-M/XLR-F microphone cables that are essential for vocal recording, and TRS/TRS cables for patching synthesizers and patch bays.

In addition, considering the situation where you would like to purchase a pair, we also offer a separate pair package called VAB Pair, which contains a set of two.

I would like you to use cables that are of high quality.
